Lisa Hartmann is a dedicated nonprofit professional with more than two decades of experience building community partnerships, strengthening mission-driven organizations, and cultivating meaningful donor engagement. Most recently serving as Events and Community Engagement Coordinator at Willow Domestic Violence Center, Lisa led major fundraising events, stewarded sponsor relationships, coordinated press activities, and advanced key community and volunteer initiatives that supported families in crisis and expanded the organization’s reach across the region.
Prior to Willow, she served in community relations and development roles at Villa of Hope, where she helped increase public awareness, enhanced volunteer and intern programs, and organized signature events that strengthened connections with supporters and partners. Earlier in her career, Lisa developed and managed a robust volunteer program for the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Rochester, where she implemented organization-wide systems, led community service partnerships with local colleges and organizations, and coordinated donor and volunteer appreciation events. Lisa also brings more than 30 years of operational experience as Office Manager for Andrew T. Hartmann Painting, giving her a strong foundation in communication, organization, and customer relationship management.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Nazareth College and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from St. John Fisher College’s Center for Community Engagement.
Deeply grounded by time spent outdoors, Lisa finds energy and balance in nature—whether taking peaceful walks, hiking scenic trails, or swimming at Long Lake, NY with her six grandchildren. She believes in living with intention, appreciating small moments, and nurturing strong community connections. Passionate about service, collaboration, and uplifting others, Lisa brings heart-centered leadership, a commitment to mission, and a genuine love for people to her board work.
